Medieval pilgrims badge. C. 15th century AD. Lead-alloy, 46mm x 36mm, 4.1g. Displaying the image of Christ on the cross. He is crowned, wearing a long robe thats tied at the waste and standing on a plinth. Believed to be linked to a late Medieval relic such as Windsor's greatest treasure, the Cross of Neath in St George's Chapel: this was a fragment of the True Cross taken from the Princes of North Wales by Edward I.
